  1. Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,

  2. and said, What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they weighed unto him thirty pieces of silver.

  3. And from that time he sought opportunity to deliver him unto them.

  4. Arise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that betrayeth me.

  9. And Judas Iscariot, he that was one of the twelve, went away unto the chief priests, that he might deliver him unto them.

  10. And they, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently deliver him unto them.

  11. And straightway, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

  12. Now he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

  13. And when he was come, straightway he came to him, and saith, Rabbi; and kissed him.

  14. And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

  15. And he went away, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him unto them.

  16. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

  17. And he consented, and sought opportunity to deliver him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

  18. But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

  19. For the Son of man indeed goeth, as it hath been determined: but woe unto that man through whom he is betrayed!

  20. And they began to question among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

  21. While he yet spake, behold, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them; and he drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

  22. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

  23. And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him,

  24. And after the sop, then entered Satan into him. Jesus therefore saith unto him, What thou doest, do quickly.

  25. Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
