Where does the money go?

The biggest dollar cost is the dev tools used to build with. Hosting, AI inference (the /ai page leads there), and language translations are the rest. I put a lot of my own time in too, but I love this work — it doesn't feel like a cost. Donations help me keep doing it.

Will TrulyRandomVerse always be free?

The core — reading, search, translations — stays free. Optional paid AI tiers may come later, but the main site won't be walled off.

Are donations tax-deductible?

No. TrulyRandomVerse isn't a registered 501(c)(3). Your donation is treated as a personal gift, not a charitable contribution.

How do I cancel a monthly donation?

Go to donation/manage, enter the email you used to donate, and we'll email you a one-time link into Stripe's portal. You can cancel, update your card, or download past receipts there.

What if my card is declined or something breaks?

Stripe handles the entire payment flow. If you hit any issue, reach out via the contact page and we'll figure it out.
