Questions
- What is an MCP server?
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way for AI apps to use outside tools. Adding this server lets ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Grok look things up on TrulyRandomVerse while it answers you.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. There is no account, key or payment here. Your AI app runs on your own plan with its provider.
- Is it the same as Ask AI on this site?
- It draws on the same sources. Your own AI writes the answers, so how it reads and cites them depends on your app.
- What if my AI doesn’t use it?
- In ChatGPT and Gemini, start your question with @TrulyRandomVerse. In Claude, check that it is switched on in the tools menu. In any app, naming TrulyRandomVerse in your question helps.
- What does the site see?
- Only what your AI looks up, such as a verse reference or a Strong’s number. Your conversation stays with your AI app.
- How are verses numbered?
- By the King James Version, in every language. The text comes from the edition you ask for.
