  1. And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.

  23. Therefore, let us follow after the things that are of peace and keep the things that are of edification, one towards another.

  24. It is good not to eat flesh and not to drink wine: nor any thing whereby thy brother is offended or scandalized or made weak.

  25. Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them.
