  1. So stay alert! Remember that for three years, night and day, with tears in my eyes, I never stopped warning you!

  23. Pay attention to yourself and to the teaching, continue in it, for by so doing you will deliver both yourself and those who hear you.

  24. But you, remain steady in every situation, endure suffering, do the work that a proclaimer of the Good News should, and do everything your service to God requires.

  25. Therefore, we must pay much more careful heed to the things we have heard, so that we will not drift away.
