  7. for yet ye are fleshly, for where there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not fleshly, and in the manner of men do walk?

  8. for when one may say, `I, indeed, am of Paul;' and another, `I--of Apollos;' are ye not fleshly?

  9. And these things, brethren, I did transfer to myself and to Apollos because of you, that in us ye may learn not to think above that which hath been written, that ye may not be puffed up one for one against the other,

  10. for who doth make thee to differ? and what hast thou, that thou didst not receive? and if thou didst also receive, why dost thou glory as not having received?

  11. Dare any one of you, having a matter with the other, go to be judged before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

  12. have ye not known that the saints shall judge the world? and if by you the world is judged, are ye unworthy of the smaller judgments?

  13. have ye not known that we shall judge messengers? why not then the things of life?

  14. of the things of life, indeed, then, if ye may have judgment, those despised in the assembly--these cause ye to sit;

  15. unto your shame I speak: so there is not among you one wise man, not even one, who shall be able to discern in the midst of his brethren!

  16. but brother with brother doth go to be judged, and this before unbelievers!

  17. Already, indeed, then, there is altogether a fault among you, that ye have judgments with one another; wherefore do ye not rather suffer injustice? wherefore be ye not rather defrauded?

  18. and if any one doth think to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the assemblies of God.

  19. And this declaring, I give no praise, because not for the better, but for the worse ye come together;

  20. for first, indeed, ye coming together in an assembly, I hear of divisions being among you, and partly I believe it ,

  21. for it behoveth sects also to be among you, that those approved may become manifest among you;

  22. for I fear lest, having come, not such as I wish I may find you, and I--I may be found by you such as ye do not wish, lest there be strifes, envyings, wraths, revelries, evil-speakings, whisperings, puffings up, insurrections,

  23. I have confidence in regard to you in the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded; and he who is troubling you shall bear the judgment, whoever he may be.

  24. and if one another ye do bite and devour, see--that ye may not by one another be consumed.

  25. And manifest also are the works of the flesh, which are: Adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
