Sinai & The Law
God meets Israel at Mount Sinai, reveals the Ten Commandments, and establishes the Tabernacle and the priestly covenant.
- Exodus 39:34c. 1491 BC
The veil, the ark, the bars, the propitiatory,
- Exodus 39:35c. 1491 BC
The table, with the vessels thereof, and the loaves of proposition:
- Exodus 39:36c. 1491 BC
The candlestick, the lamps, and the furniture of them, with the oil:
- Exodus 39:37c. 1491 BC
The altar of gold, and the ointment, and the incense of spices:
- Exodus 39:38c. 1491 BC
And the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle:
- Exodus 39:39c. 1491 BC
The altar of brass, the grate, the bars, and all the vessels thereof: the laver, with the foot thereof: the hangings of the court, and the pillars, with their sockets:
- Exodus 39:40c. 1491 BC
The hanging in the entry of the court, and the little cords, and the pins thereof. Nothing was wanting of the vessels, that were commanded to be made for the ministry of the tabernacle, and for the roof of the covenant.
- Exodus 39:41c. 1491 BC
The vestments also, which the priests, to wit, Aaron and his sons, use in the sanctuary,
- Exodus 39:42c. 1491 BC
The children of Israel offered, as the Lord had commanded.
- Exodus 39:43c. 1491 BC
And when Moses saw all things finished, he blessed them.
- Exodus 40:1c. 1491 BC
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
- Exodus 40:2c. 1491 BC
The first month, the first day of the month, thou shalt set up the tabernacle of the testimony,
- Exodus 40:3c. 1491 BC
And shalt put the ark in it, and shalt let down the veil before it:
- Exodus 40:4c. 1491 BC
And thou shalt bring in the table, and set upon it the things that are commanded according to the rite. The candlestick shall stand with its lamps,
- Exodus 40:5c. 1491 BC
And the altar of gold, whereon the incense is burnt before the ark of the testimony. Thou shalt put the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle,
- Exodus 40:6c. 1491 BC
And before it the altar of holocaust.
- Exodus 40:7c. 1491 BC
The laver between the altar and the tabernacle, and thou shalt fill it with water.
- Exodus 40:8c. 1491 BC
And thou shalt encompass the court with hangings, and the entry thereof.
- Exodus 40:9c. 1491 BC
And thou shalt take the oil of unction and anoint the tabernacle with its vessels, that they may be sanctified:
- Exodus 40:10c. 1491 BC
The altar of holocaust and all its vessels:
- Exodus 40:11c. 1491 BC
The laver with its foot: thou shalt consecrate all with the oil of unction, that they may be most holy.
- Exodus 40:12c. 1491 BC
And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and having washed them with water,
- Exodus 40:13c. 1491 BC
Thou shalt put on them the holy vestments, that they may minister to me, and that the unction of them may prosper to an everlasting priesthood.
- Exodus 40:14c. 1491 BC
And Moses did all that the Lord had commanded.
- Exodus 40:15c. 1491 BC
So in the first month of the second year, the first day of the month, the tabernacle was set up.
