I've heard that you now have shearers. Your shepherds were with us [for a while], we did them no harm, and they found nothing missing all the time they were in Karmel.

Moreover, he built high places in the hills of Y'hudah, caused the people living in Yerushalayim to prostitute themselves and drew Y'hudah away.

He built towers in the desert and dug many cisterns, because he had much livestock, likewise in the Sh'felah and the coastal plain. He had farmers and vineyard-workers in the hills and in the fertile lands, because he loved the soil.

"He moves the mountains, although they don't know it, when he overturns them in his anger.

The pillars of heaven tremble, aghast at his rebuke.

"[The miner] attacks the flint, overturns mountains at their roots,

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, your judgments are like the great deep. You save man and beast, ADONAI.

My God, when I feel so downcast, I remind myself of you from the land of Yarden, from the peaks of Hermon, from the hill Mizar.
