  15. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

  16. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

  17. For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

  18. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

  19. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

  20. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

  21. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

  22. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

  23. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

  24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

  25. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
