  1. But Iudah shall dwell for euer, and Ierusalem from generation to generation.

  2. For I will clense their blood, that I haue not clensed, and the Lord will dwell in Zion.

  3. Then saide I, Whither goest thou? And he saide vnto me, To measure Ierusalem, that I may see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

  8. For nation shall rise against nation, and realme against realme, and there shalbe famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in diuers places.

  9. All these are but ye beginning of sorowes.

  10. Then shall they deliuer you vp to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my Names sake.

  11. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

  12. And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceiue many.

  13. And because iniquitie shalbe increased, the loue of many shalbe colde.

  14. But he that endureth to the ende, he shalbe saued.

  15. And this Gospel of the kingdome shalbe preached through the whole world for a witnes vnto all nations, and then shall the end come.

  16. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, set in the holy place (let him that readeth consider it.)

  17. Saying, O if thou haddest euen knowen at the least in this thy day those things, which belong vnto thy peace! but nowe are they hid from thine eyes.

  18. For the dayes shall come vpon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compasse thee round, and keepe thee in on euery side,

  19. And shall make thee euen with ye ground, and thy children which are in thee, and they shall not leaue in thee a stone vpon a stone, because thou knewest not that season of thy visitation.

  20. Then they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what signe shall there be when these things shall come to passe?

  21. And he sayd, Take heede, that ye be not deceiued: for many will come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and the time draweth neere: follow ye not them therefore.

  22. And when ye heare of warres and seditions, be not afraid: for these things must first come, but the ende foloweth not by and by.

  23. Then said hee vnto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdome against kingdome,

  24. And great earthquakes shall be in diuers places, and hunger, and pestilence, and fearefull things, and great signes shall there be from heauen.

  25. After these things, Iesus walked in Galile, and woulde not walke in Iudea: for the Iewes sought to kill him.
