  1. Y'hudah will be inhabited forever, Yerushalayim through all generations.

  10. At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and all peoples will hate you because of me.

  11. At that time many will be trapped into betraying and hating each other,

  12. many false prophets will appear and fool many people;

  13. and many people's love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah.

  14. But whoever holds out till the end will be delivered.

  15. And this Good News about the Kingdom will be announced throughout the whole world as a witness to all the Goyim. It is then that the end will come.

  16. "So when you see the abomination that causes devastation spoken about through the prophet Dani'el standing in the Holy Place" (let the reader understand the allusion),

  17. saying, “If you only knew today what is needed for shalom! But for now it is hidden from your sight.

  18. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will set up a barricade around you, encircle you, hem you in on every side,

  19. and dash you to the ground, you and your children within your walls, leaving not one stone standing on another — and all because you did not recognize your opportunity when God offered it!”

  20. They asked him, “Rabbi, if this is so, when will these events take place? And what sign will show that they are about to happen?”

  21. He answered, “Watch out! Don’t be fooled! For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time has come!’ Don’t go after them.

  22. And when you hear of wars and revolutions, don’t panic. For these things must happen first, but the end will not follow immediately.”

  23. Then he told them, “Peoples will fight each other, nations will fight each other,

  24. there will be great earthquakes, there will be epidemics and famines in various places, and there will be fearful sights and great signs from Heaven.

  25. After this, Yeshua traveled around in the Galil, intentionally avoiding Y’hudah because the Judeans were out to kill him.
