  12. Therefore I will answer thy words, and thy friends with thee.

  13. Look up to heaven and see, and behold the sky, that it is higher than thee.

  14. If thou sin, what shalt thou hurt him? and if thy iniquities be multiplied, what shalt thou do against him?

  15. And if thou do justly, what shalt thou give him, or what shall he receive of thy hand?

  16. Thy wickedness may hurt a man that is like thee: and thy justice may help the son of man.

  17. Didst thou since thy birth command the morning, and shew the dawning of the day its place?

  18. And didst thou hold the extremities of the earth shaking them, and hast thou shaken the ungodly out of it?

  19. Out of the mouth of infants and of sucklings thou hast perfected praise, because of thy enemies, that thou mayst destroy the enemy and the avenger.

  20. For I will behold thy heavens, the works of thy fingers: the moon and the stars which thou hast founded.

  21. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: and of his greatness there is no end.

  22. Generation and generation shall praise thy works: and they shall declare thy power.
