Bible Verses About Man: Spirit

Jesus answered and said to him: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith to him: How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born again?

Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Wonder not that I said to thee: You must be born again.

The Spirit breatheth where he will and thou hearest his voice: but thou knowest not whence he cometh and whither he goeth. So is every one that is born of the Spirit.

For we know that the law is spiritual. But I am carnal, sold under sin.

For that which I work, I understand not. For I do not that good which I will: but the evil which I hate, that I do.

If then I do that which I will not, I consent to the law, that it is good.

Now then it is no more I that do it: but sin that dwelleth in me.

For I know that there dwelleth not in me, that is to say, in my flesh, that which is good. For to will is present with me: but to accomplish that which is good, I find not.

For the good which I will, I do not: but the evil which I will not, that I do.

Now if I do that which I will not, it is no more I that do it: but sin that dwelleth in me.

I find then a law, that when I have a will to do good, evil is present with me.

For I am delighted with the law of God, according to the inward man:

But I see another law in my members, fighting against the law of my mind and captivating me in the law of sin that is in my members.

Unhappy man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

The grace of God, by Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, I myself, with the mind serve the law of God: but with the flesh, the law of sin.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Christ Jesus.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency may be of the power of God and not of us.

For we know, if our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, that we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven.

For in this also we groan, desiring to be clothed upon with our habitation that is from heaven.

Yet so that we be found clothed, not naked.

For we also, who are in this tabernacle, do groan, being burthened; because we would not be unclothed, but clothed upon, that that which is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

Now he that maketh us for this very thing is God, who hath given us the pledge of the Spirit,
