  10. and in great anguish he prayed more intensely, so that his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.

  11. Then he said, “Yeshua, remember me when you come as King.”

  12. Yeshua said to him, “Yes! I promise that you will be with me today in Gan-‘Eden.”

  13. Yeshua answered her, “If you knew God’s gift, that is, who it is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink of water,’ then you would have asked him; and he would have given you living water.”

  14. You people don’t know what you are worshipping; we worship what we do know, because salvation comes from the Jews.

  15. But the time is coming — indeed, it’s here now — when the true worshippers will worship the Father spiritually and truly, for these are the kind of people the Father wants worshipping him.

  16. God is spirit; and worshippers must worship him spiritually and truly.”

  17. Then Yeshua took the loaves of bread, and, after making a b’rakhah, gave to all who were sitting there, and likewise with the fish, as much as they wanted.

  18. Then other boats, from Tiberias, came ashore near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had made the b’rakhah.

  19. We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners; but if anyone fears God and does his will, God does listen to him.

  20. In fact, whatever you ask for in my name, I will do; so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

  21. If you ask me for something in my name, I will do it.

  22. “If you remain united with me, and my words with you, then ask whatever you want, and it will happen for you.

  23. You did not choose me, I chose you; and I have commissioned you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last; so that whatever you ask from the Father in my name he may give you.

  24. “When that day comes, you won’t ask anything of me! Yes, indeed! I tell you that whatever you ask from the Father, he will give you in my name.

  25. Till now you haven’t asked for anything in my name. Keep asking, and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
