  1. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.

  2. But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.

  14. But the wicked and enemies of the LORD will perish like the glory of the fields. They will vanish; like smoke they will fade away.

  15. The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous are gracious and giving.

  16. Surely those He blesses will inherit the land, but the cursed will be destroyed.

  17. Consider the blameless and observe the upright, for posterity awaits the man of peace.

  18. But the transgressors will all be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off.

  19. God settles the lonely in families; He leads the prisoners out to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.

  20. Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.

  21. But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; my steps had nearly slipped.

  22. For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

  23. They have no struggle in their death; their bodies are well-fed.

  24. They are free of the burdens others carry; they are not afflicted like other men.

  25. Therefore pride is their necklace; a garment of violence covers them.
