  1. For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

  2. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.

  3. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.

  11. Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but as of debt.

  12. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

  13. For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

  14. through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

  15. For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  16. and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

  17. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward.

  18. But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

  19. but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, Andwhichentered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.

  20. Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

  21. And every man that striveth in the games exerciseth self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

  22. Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.

  23. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;

  24. while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

  25. For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
