  1. And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son and believeth in him may have life everlasting. And I will raise him up in the last day.

  2. If any man minister to me, let him follow me: and where I am, there also shall my minister be. If any man minister to me, him will my Father honour.

  3. In my Father's house there are many mansions. If not, I would have told you: because I go to prepare a place for you.

  4. And if I shall go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself: that where I am, you also may be.

  8. And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, who is able to build up and to give an inheritance among all the sanctified.

  9. To open their eyes, that they may be converted from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a lot among the saints, by the faith that is in me.

  10. To them indeed who, according to patience in good work, seek glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life:

  11. Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned according to grace but according to debt.

  12. But to him that worketh not, yet believeth in him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reputed to justice, according to the purpose of the grace of God.

  13. Therefore is it of faith, that according to grace the promise might be firm to all the seed: not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

  14. By whom also we have access through faith into this grace wherein we stand: and glory in the hope of the glory of the sons of God.

  15. For the wages of sin is death. But the grace of God, life everlasting in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  16. And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

  17. For I reckon that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come that shall be revealed in us.

  18. And if by grace, it is not now by works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

  19. But, as it is written: That eye hath not seen, nor ear heard: neither hath it entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for them that love him.

  20. Know you not that the saints shall judge this world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

  21. And every one that striveth for the mastery refraineth himself from all things. And they indeed that they may receive a corruptible crown: but we an incorruptible one.

  22. For which cause we faint not: but though our outward man is corrupted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

  23. For that which is at present momentary and light of our tribulation worketh for us above measure, exceedingly an eternal weight of glory.

  24. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal: but the things which are not seen, are eternal.

  25. For we know, if our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, that we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven.
