  10. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

  11. Commit thyself unto Jehovah; let him deliver him: Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.

  12. Be not far from me; for trouble is near; For there is none to help.

  13. Many bulls have compassed me; Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

  14. They gape upon me with their mouth, Asa ravening and a roaring lion.

  15. I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; It is melted within me.

  16. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; And thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

  17. For dogs have compassed me: A company of evil-doers have inclosed me; They pierced my hands and my feet.

  18. I may count all my bones. They look and stare upon me;

  19. They part my garments among them, And upon my vesture do they cast lots.

  20. But be not thou far off, O Jehovah: O thou my succor, haste thee to help me.

  21. Deliver my soul from the sword, My darling from the power of the dog.

  22. Save me from the lion’s mouth; Yea, from the horns of the wild-oxen thou hast answered me.

  23. Save me, O God; For the waters are come in unto my soul.

  24. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

  25. I am weary with my crying; my throat is dried: Mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
