You will know that I have sent this commandment to you, that my covenant may be with Levi,” says the LORD of Hosts.

“My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him that he might be reverent toward me; and he was reverent toward me, and stood in awe of my name.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many away from iniquity.

For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of Hosts.

You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,

‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’”

But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’

So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers, who will give him the fruit in its season.”

Yeshua said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?’

“Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

I tell the truth in Messiah. I am not lying, my conscience testifying with me in the Holy Spirit,

that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart.

For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Messiah for my brothers’ sake, my relatives according to the flesh,

and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn’t look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.

But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Messiah it passes away.

But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.

But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition,

having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility thereby.

For you, brothers, became imitators of the assemblies of God which are in Judea in Messiah Yeshua; for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Judeans;
