  1. And yee shall know, that I haue sent this commandement vnto you, that my couenant, which I made with Leui, might stand, sayeth the Lord of hostes.

  2. My couenant was with him of life and peace, and I gaue him feare, and he feared mee, and was afraid before my Name.

  8. But last of all he sent vnto them his owne sonne, saying, They will reuerence my sonne.

  9. But when the husbandmen saw the sonne, they saide among themselues, This is the heire: come, let vs kill him, and let vs take his inheritance.

  10. So they tooke him, and cast him out of the vineyarde, and slewe him.

  11. When therefore the Lord of the vineyarde shall come, what will hee doe to those husbandmen?

  12. They saide vnto him, Hee will cruelly destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard vnto other husbandmen, which shall deliuer him the fruites in their seasons.

  13. Iesus saide vnto them, Read ye neuer in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders refused, the same is made the head of the corner? This was the Lordes doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes.

  14. Therefore say I vnto you, The kingdome of God shalbe taken from you, and shalbe giuen to a nation, which shall bring foorth the fruites thereof.

  15. I say the trueth in Christ, I lye not, my conscience bearing mee witnes in the holy Ghost,

  16. That I haue great heauinesse, and continuall sorow in mine heart.

  17. For I woulde wish my selfe to be separate from Christ, for my brethren that are my kinsemen according to the flesh,

  18. And we are not as Moses, which put a vaile vpon his face, that the children of Israel should not looke vnto the ende of that which should be abolished.

  19. Therefore their mindes are hardened: for vntill this day remaineth the same couering vntaken away in the reading of the olde Testament, which vaile in Christ is put away.

  20. But euen vnto this day, whe Moses is read, the vaile is laid ouer their hearts.

  21. Neuertheles when their heart shall be turned to the Lord, the vaile shalbe taken away.

  22. For he is our peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken the stoppe of the partition wall,

  23. In abrogating through his flesh the hatred, that is, the Lawe of commandements which standeth in ordinances, for to make of twaine one newe man in himselfe, so making peace,

  24. And that he might reconcile both vnto God in one body by his crosse, and slay hatred thereby,

  25. For brethren, ye are become folowers of the Churches of God, which in Iudea are in Christ Iesus, because ye haue also suffred the same things of your owne countrey men, euen as they haue of the Iewes,
