Bible Verses About The Jews

And you shall know that I sent you this commandment, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.

My covenant was with him of life and peace: and I gave him fear: and he feared me, and he was afraid before my name.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace, and in equity, and turned many away from iniquity.

For the lips of the priests shall keep knowledge, and they shall seek the law at his mouth: because he is the angel of the Lord of hosts.

Hypocrites, well hath Isaias prophesied of you, saying:

This people honoureth me with their lips: but their heart is far from me.

And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men.

And last of all he sent to them his son, saying: They will reverence my son.

But the husbandmen seeing the son, said among themselves: This is the heir: come, let us kill him, and we shall have his inheritance.

And taking him, they cast him forth out of the vineyard and killed him.

When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do to those husbandmen?

They say to him: He will bring those evil men to an evil end and let out his vineyard to other husbandmen that shall render him the fruit in due season.

Jesus saith to them: Have you never read in the Scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? By the Lord this has been done; and it is wonderful in our eyes.

Therefore I say to you that the kingdom of God shall be taken from you and shall be given to a nation yielding the fruits thereof.

I speak the truth in Christ: I lie not, my conscience bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost:

That I have great sadness and continual sorrow in my heart.

For I wished myself to be an anathema from Christ, for my brethren: who are my kinsmen according to the flesh:

And not as Moses put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel might not steadfastly look on the face of that which is made void.

But their senses were made dull. For, until this present day, the selfsame veil, in the reading of the old testament, remaineth not taken away (because in Christ it is made void).

But even until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.

But when they shall be converted to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, the enmities in his flesh:

Making void the law of commandments contained in decrees: that he might make the two in himself into one new man, making peace

And might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, killing the enmities in himself.

For you, brethren, are become followers of the churches of God which are in Judea, in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they have from the Jews:
