  1. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

  23. Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

  25. So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.
