  1. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

  2. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

  3. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

  10. And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

  11. ¶ And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

  12. And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

  13. But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

  14. And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.

  15. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

  16. And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

  17. For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

  18. And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

  19. Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

  20. And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

  21. And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

  22. For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

  23. But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

  24. ¶ And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.

  25. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
