Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow [are] in the midst of it.
Wickedness [is] in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.
And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
¶ Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see [it].
I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
¶ Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; [lest] they exalt themselves. Selah.
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
The men of Arvad with thine army [were] upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.

This [shall be] holy in all the borders thereof round about.
And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went forth from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all along as he went: and it came to pass, as he met them, he said unto them, Come to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam.
¶ A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

[If] the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
This [is] the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.
This [is] the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, [which] they shall receive of the Almighty.
¶ When a wicked man dieth, [his] expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust [men] perisheth.
¶ When righteous [men] do rejoice, [there is] great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
¶ When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons [are] with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.
Then answered all the wicked men and [men] of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them [ought] of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead [them] away, and depart.
And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.
And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that [are] round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
