  1. Thou shalt krush them with a scepter of yron, and breake them in pieces like a potters vessell.

  9. And that ye may knowe that the Sonne of man hath authoritie in earth to forgiue sinnes, (then saide he vnto the sicke of the palsie,) Arise, take vp thy bed, and goe to thine house.

  10. And hee called his twelue disciples vnto him, and gaue them power against vncleane spirits, to cast them out, and to heale euery sickenesse, and euery disease.

  11. And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me, in heauen, and in earth.

  12. And then shall they see the Sonne of man comming in ye cloudes, with great power and glory.

  13. And these tokens shall folowe them that beleeue, In my Name they shall cast out deuils, and shall speake with newe tongues,

  14. And shall take away serpents, and if they shall drinke any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their handes on the sicke, and they shall recouer.

  15. And they were astonied at his doctrine: for his worde was with authoritie.

  16. And it came to passe, on a certaine day, as he was teaching, that the Pharises and doctours of the Law sate by, which were come out of euery towne of Galile, and Iudea, and Hierusalem, and the power of the Lord was in him to heale them.

  17. And the seuentie turned againe with ioy, saying, Lord, euen the deuils are subdued to vs through thy Name.

  18. All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made.

  19. He was in the world, and the worlde was made by him: and the worlde knewe him not.

  20. Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Destroy this Temple, and in three daies I will raise it vp againe.

  21. Then said the Iewes, Fourtie and sixe yeeres was this Temple a building, and wilt thou reare it vp in three daies?

  22. But he spake of the temple of his bodie.

  23. The Father loueth the Sonne, and hath giuen all things into his hande.

  24. But Iesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I worke.

  25. Therefore the Iewes sought the more to kill him: not onely because he had broken the Sabbath: but said also that God was his Father, and made himselfe equall with God.
