  1. Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron, and shalt break them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

  10. And having called his twelve disciples together, he gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of diseases, and all manner of infirmities.

  11. And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.

  12. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with great power and glory.

  13. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues.

  14. They shall take up serpents: and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay their hand upon the sick: and they shall recover.

  15. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his speech was with power.

  16. And it came to pass on a certain day, as he sat teaching, that there were also Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, that were come out of every town of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was to heal them.

  17. And the seventy-two returned with joy, saying: Lord, the devils also are subject to us in thy name.

  18. All things were made by him: and without him was made nothing that was made.

  19. He was in the world: and the world was made by him: and the world knew him not.

  20. Jesus answered and said to them: Destroy this temple; and in three days I will raise it up.

  21. The Jews then said: Six and forty years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

  22. But he spoke of the temple of his body.

  23. The Father loveth the Son: and he hath given all things into his hand.

  24. But Jesus answered them: My Father worketh until now; and I work.

  25. Hereupon therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he did not only break the sabbath but also said God was his Father, making himself equal to God.
