  1. Then shall he iudge thy people in righteousnesse, and thy poore with equitie.

  2. The mountaines and the hilles shall bring peace to the people by iustice.

  3. He shall iudge the poore of the people: he shall saue the children of the needie, and shall subdue the oppressor.

  12. In that day shall the Lord of hostes be for a crowne of glory, and for a diademe of beautie vnto the residue of his people:

  13. And for a spirite of iudgement to him that sitteth in iudgement, and for strength vnto them that turne away the battell to the gate.

  14. And they shall teach my people the difference betweene the holy and prophane, and cause them to discerne betweene the vncleane and the cleane.

  15. And in controuersie they shall stande to iudge, and they shall iudge it according to my iudgements: and they shall keepe my lawes and my statutes in all mine assemblies, and they shall sanctifie my Sabbaths.

  16. And they tooke Iesus, and led him to Caiaphas the hie Priest, where the Scribes and the Elders were assembled.

  17. And Peter followed him a farre off vnto the hie Priestes hall, and went in, and sate with the seruants to see the ende.

  18. Nowe the chiefe Priestes and the Elders, and all the whole councill sought false witnesse against Iesus, to put him to death.

  19. But they founde none, and though many false witnesses came, yet founde they none: but at the last came two false witnesses,

  20. And saide, This man saide, I can destroie the Temple of God, and build it in three daies.

  21. Then the chiefe Priest arose, and sayde to him, Answerest thou nothing? What is the matter that these men witnesse against thee?

  22. And Iesus stood before ye gouernour, and the gouernour asked him, saying, Art thou that King of the Iewes? Iesus said vnto him, Thou sayest it.

  23. And when he was accused of the chiefe Priestes, and Elders, he answered nothing.

  24. Then saide Pilate vnto him, Hearest thou not howe many things they lay against thee?

  25. But he answered him not to one worde, in so much that the gouernour marueiled greatly.
