  17. They are all adulterers, and as a very ouen heated by ye baker, which ceaseth from raysing vp, and from kneading ye dough vntill it be leauened.

  20. But it is that the worde might be fulfilled, that is written in their Lawe, They hated me without a cause.

  21. Because that when they knewe God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankefull, but became vaine in their thoughtes, and their foolish heart was full of darkenesse.

  22. When they professed themselues to be wise, they became fooles.

  23. For the wisedome of the flesh is death: but the wisedome of the Spirit is life and peace,

  24. Because the wisedome of the flesh is enimitie against God: for it is not subiect to the Lawe of God, neither in deede can be.

  25. So then they that are in the flesh, can not please God.
