  1. He slew also of Edom in the valley of salt ten thousand, and tooke the citie of Sela by warre, and called the name thereof Ioktheel vnto this day.

  9. And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.

  10. Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,

  11. Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

  12. Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

  13. Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.

  14. In his dayes Edom rebelled from vnder the hand of Iudah, and made a King ouer them.

  15. And Iehoram went forth with his princes, and all his charets with him: and hee rose vp by night, and smote Edom, which had compassed him in, and the captaines of the charets.

  16. But Edom rebelled from vnder the hande of Iudah vnto this day. then did Libnah rebell at the same time from vnder his hand, because he had forsaken the Lord God of his fathers.

  17. Then Amaziah was encouraged, and led forth his people, and went to the salt valley, and smote of the children of Seir, ten thousand.

  18. And other ten thousand did the children of Iudah take aliue, and caryed them to the top of a rocke, and cast them downe from the top of the rocke, and they all burst to pieces.

  23. I haue troden the wine presse alone, and of all people there was none with mee: for I will treade them in mine anger, and tread them vnder foote in my wrath, and their blood shalbe sprinkled vpon my garments, and I will staine all my raiment.

  24. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the yeere of my redeemed is come.

  25. Beholde, the dayes come, sayth the Lord, that I wil visite all them, which are circumcised with the vncircumcised:
