  1. For the Son of man goeth, even as it is written of him: but woe unto that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had not been born.

  2. And as they were eating, he took bread, and when he had blessed, he brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take ye: this is my body.

  11. and when they found him not, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking for him.

  12. And it came to pass, after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both hearing them, and asking them questions:

  13. and all that heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

  14. And when they saw him, they were astonished; and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I sought thee sorrowing.

  15. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? knew ye not that I must be in my Father’s house?

  16. And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

  17. And the day of unleavened bread came, on which the passover must be sacrificed.

  18. And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may eat.

  19. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we make ready?

  20. And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he goeth.

  21. And ye shall say unto the master of the house, The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the guest-chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

  22. And he will show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

  23. And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

  24. And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the apostles with him.

  25. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
