  18. if I had not come and spoken to them, they were not having sin; but now pretext they have not for their sin.

  19. and having come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment;

  20. concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in me;

  21. who the righteous judgment of God having known--that those practising such things are worthy of death--not only do them, but also have delight with those practising them.

  22. wherefore by works of law shall no flesh be declared righteous before Him, for through law is a knowledge of sin.

  23. because of this, even as through one man the sin did enter into the world, and through the sin the death; and thus to all men the death did pass through, for that all did sin;

  24. let it not be! we who died to the sin--how shall we still live in it?

  25. this knowing, that our old man was crucified with him , that the body of the sin may be made useless, for our no longer serving the sin;
