  13. If He doth set on him His heart, His spirit and his breath unto Him He gathereth.

  14. Expire doth all flesh together, And man to dust returneth.

  15. Lest He move thee with a stroke, And the abundance of an atonement turn thee not aside.

  16. Doth He value thy riches? He hath gold, and all the forces of power.

  17. By David. Do not fret because of evil doers, Be not envious against doers of iniquity,

  18. For as grass speedily they are cut off, And as the greenness of the tender grass do fade.

  19. For evil doers are cut off, As to those waiting on Jehovah, they possess the land.

  20. And yet a little, and the wicked is not, And thou hast considered his place, and it is not.

  21. I have seen the wicked terrible, And spreading as a green native plant,

  22. And he passeth away, and lo, he is not, And I seek him, and he is not found!

  23. And still he liveth for ever, He seeth not the pit.

  24. For he seeth wise men die, Together the foolish and brutish perish, And have left to others their wealth.

  25. It cometh to the generation of his fathers, For ever they see not the light.
