  1. When I tell the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.

  12. That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,

  13. If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehinnom.

  14. but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

  15. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

  16. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.

  17. You, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, you will go down to Sheol. For if the mighty works had been done in Sodom which were done in you, it would have remained until this day.

  18. But I tell you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom, on the day of judgment, than for you.”

  19. For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to everyone according to his deeds.

  20. You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehinnom?

  21. Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;

  22. that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.

  23. Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.

  24. “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.

  25. Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;
