Holy Spirit

The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

The Spirit of the LORD came on him, and he judged Israel; and he went out to war, and the LORD delivered Cushan Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand: and his hand prevailed against Cushan Rishathaim.

But the Spirit of the LORD came on Gideon; and he blew a shofar; and Abiezer was gathered together after him.

Then the Spirit of the LORD came on Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpah of Gilead, and from Mizpah of Gilead he passed over to the children of Ammon.

The Spirit of the LORD began to move him in Mahaneh Dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.

The Spirit of the LORD came mightily on him, and he tore him as he would have torn a young goat; and he had nothing in his hand: but he didn’t tell his father or his mother what he had done.

The Spirit of the LORD came mightily on him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and struck thirty men of them, and took their plunder, and gave the changes of clothing to those who declared the riddle. His anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.

and the Spirit of the LORD will come mightily on you, and you shall prophesy with them, and shall be turned into another man.

The Spirit of God came mightily on Saul when he heard those words, and his anger was kindled greatly.

“The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me. His word was on my tongue.

It will happen, as soon as I am gone from you, that the Spirit of the LORD will carry you I don’t know where; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he can’t find you, he will kill me. But I, your servant, have feared the LORD from my youth.

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did the Spirit of the LORD go from me to speak to you?”

They said to him, “See now, there are with your servants fifty strong men. Please let them go and seek your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the LORD has taken him up, and put him on some mountain, or into some valley. He said, “You shall not send them.”

The Spirit of God came on Azariah the son of Oded:

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did the Spirit of the LORD go from me to speak to you?”

Then the Spirit of the LORD came on Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, the Levite, of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly;

The Spirit of God came on Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people, and said to them, “Thus says God, ‘Why do you disobey the commandments of the LORD, so that you can’t prosper? Because you have forsaken the LORD, he has also forsaken you.’”

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
