  1. I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

  22. Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own schemes.

  23. The wise will inherit glory, but shame will be the promotion of fools.

  24. The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare him. The cords of his sin hold him firmly.

  25. He will die for lack of instruction. In the greatness of his folly, he will go astray.
