  1. Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with shofars, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.

  2. They entered into the covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul;

  3. and that whoever would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

  4. They swore to the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with shofars, and with cornets.

  5. They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to the LORD, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the LORD’s house had been laid.

  6. But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers’ households, the old men who had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice. Many also shouted aloud for joy,

  7. so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard far away.

  8. But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you.

  9. Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

  10. Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great in your midst!”

  11. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.

  12. As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,

  13. saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!”

  14. Some of the Pharisees from the multitude said to him, “Rabbi, rebuke your disciples!”

  15. He answered them, “I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out.”

  16. When he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it,

  17. Leaping up, he stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.

  18. All the people saw him walking and praising God.

  19. saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”

  20. I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen!”

  21. The four living creatures said, “Amen!” The elders fell down and worshiped.
