  10. So they went away from the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side. Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood at the door of their tents, with their wives, their sons, and their little ones.

  11. The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households, all of Korah’s men, and all their goods.

  12. to be a memorial to the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger, who isn’t of the seed of Aaron, would come near to burn incense before the LORD, that he not be as Korah, and as his company; as the LORD spoke to him by Moses.

  13. Now those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides those who died about the matter of Korah.

  14. The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. These are that Dathan and Abiram, who were called by the congregation, who rebelled against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they rebelled against the LORD,

  15. and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died; at the time the fire devoured two hundred fifty men, and they became a sign.

  16. Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah didn’t die.

  17. “Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah, but he died in his own sin. He had no sons.

  18. The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

  19. the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

  20. Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent: and their fathers had been over the camp of the LORD, keepers of the entry.

  21. As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God.

  22. We have heard with our ears, God; our fathers have told us, what work you did in their days, in the days of old.

  23. My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer.

  24. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

  25. Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
