Bible Verses About Paul: Called to be an apostle
Verses on Called to be an apostle
He said, ‘The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.
For you will be a witness for him to all men of what you have seen and heard.
Now why do you wait? Arise, be immersed, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’
“When I had returned to Jerusalem, and while I prayed in the temple, I fell into a trance,
and saw him saying to me, ‘Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not receive testimony concerning me from you.’
I said, ‘Lord, they themselves know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue those who believed in you.
When the blood of Stephen, your witness, was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting to his death, and guarding the cloaks of those who killed him.’
“He said to me, ‘Depart, for I will send you out far from here to the Gentiles.’ ”
But arise, and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose: to appoint you a servant and a witness both of the things which you have seen, and of the things which I will reveal to you;
delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you,
to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
Paul, a servant of Yeshua the Messiah, called to be an emissary, set apart for the Good News of God,
Paul, called to be an emissary of Yeshua the Messiah through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
Am I not free? Am I not an emissary? Haven’t I seen Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord? Aren’t you my work in the Lord?
If to others I am not an emissary, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my office of emissary in the Lord.
For I am the least of the emissaries, who is not worthy to be called an emissary, because I persecuted the assembly of God.
Paul, an emissary (not from men, neither through man, but through Yeshua the Messiah, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),
But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,
to reveal his Son in me, that I might proclaim him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,
Paul, an emissary of Messiah Yeshua through the will of God, to the holy ones who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Messiah Yeshua:
Paul, an emissary of Messiah Yeshua through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
Paul, an emissary of Messiah Yeshua according to the commandment of God our Savior, and Messiah Yeshua our hope;
to which I was appointed a proclaimer and an emissary (I am telling the truth in Messiah, not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Paul, an emissary of Yeshua the Messiah through the will of God, according to the promise of the life which is in Messiah Yeshua,
For this, I was appointed as a proclaimer, an emissary, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
