  1. He came to Derbe and Lystra: and behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewess who believed; but his father was a Greek.

  8. Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Messiah, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

  9. Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.

  19. to Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Messiah Yeshua our Lord.

  20. This instruction I commit to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to you, that by them you may wage the good warfare;

  21. Timothy, guard that which is committed to you, turning away from the empty chatter and oppositions of the knowledge which is falsely so called;

  22. to Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Messiah Yeshua our Lord.

  23. Paul, a prisoner of Messiah Yeshua, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our beloved fellow worker,

  24. Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.
