He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

що там ку́бляться пта́хи, бузько́, — кипари́си мешка́ння його.

Го́ри високі — для диких кози́ць, скелі — схо́вище ске́льним звіри́нам.

Темноту́ Ти наво́диш — і ніч настає, в ній пору́шується вся звіри́на лісна́, —

рича́ть левчуки́ за здоби́чею та шукають від Бога своєї пожи́ви.

Це бачить безбожний та гні́вається, скрего́че зубами своїми та та́не. Бажа́ння безбожних загине!

Хваліте, Господні раби, хваліть Ім'я́ Господа!

Господи, ви́зволь же душу мою від губи́ неправди́вої, від язика́ зрадли́вого!

Заго́стрені стрі́ли поту́жного із ялівце́вим вугі́ллям!

Горе мені, що заме́шкую в Ме́шеху, що живу́ із шатра́ми Кеда́ру!

Довго душа моя перебува́ла собі разом з тими, хто нена́видить мир:

I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

¶ With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

¶ Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

¶ I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

¶ HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

¶ And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

¶ I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

¶ I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
