  1. And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

  2. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

  8. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

  12. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

  13. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

  14. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

  15. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

  16. Neither give place to the devil.

  17. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

  18. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

  19. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

  20. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

  21. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

  22. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

  23. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

  24. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

  25. Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
