  1. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  2. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

  3. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

  8. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

  9. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

  10. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

  11. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

  12. ¶ We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

  13. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

  14. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

  15. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

  16. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

  17. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

  18. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

  19. ¶ O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

  20. This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

  21. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

  22. Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

  23. He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

  24. ¶ Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

  25. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
