  1. What I tell you in darkenesse, that speake yee in light: and what yee heare in the eare, that preach yee on the houses.

  2. And feare yee not them which kill the bodie, but are nor able to kill the soule: but rather feare him, which is able to destroy both soule and bodie in hell.

  3. Are not two sparrowes sold for a farthing, and one of them shall not fal on the ground without your Father?

  10. He that will finde his life, shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall finde it.

  11. After, he came to Capernaum: and when he was in the house, he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among you by the way?

  12. And they helde their peace: for by the way they reasoned among themselues, who should bee the chiefest.

  13. And he sate downe, and called the twelue, and said to them, If any man desire to be first, the same shalbe last of all, and seruant vnto all.

  14. And he tooke a litle childe, and set him in the middes of them, and tooke him in his armes, and sayd vnto them,

  15. Whosoeuer shall receiue one of such litle children in my Name, receiueth me: and whosoeuer receiueth mee, receiueth not me, but him that sent me.

  16. And there arose also a strife among them, which of them should seeme to be ye greatest.

  17. But hee saide vnto them, The Kings of the Gentiles reigne ouer them, and they that beare rule ouer them, are called bountifull.

  18. But yee shall not be so: but let the greatest among you be as the least: and the chiefest as he that serueth.

  19. For who is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serueth? Is not he that sitteth at table? And I am among you as he that serueth.

  20. And yee are they which haue continued with me in my tentations.

  21. Therefore I appoint vnto you a kingdome, as my Father hath appointed vnto me,

  22. That ye may eate, and drinke at my table in my kingdome, and sit on seates, and iudge the twelue tribes of Israel.

  23. And they rose vp the same houre, and returned to Hierusalem, and found the Eleuen gathered together, and them that were with them,

  24. Which said, The Lord is risen in deede, and hath appeared to Simon.

  25. Then they tolde what things were done in the way, and howe he was knowen of them in breaking of bread.
