  1. For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lordes, a great God, mightie and terrible, which accepteth no persons nor taketh reward:

  2. Wherefore nowe let the feare of the Lord be vpon you: take heede, and do it: for there is no iniquitie with the Lord our God, neither respect of persons, nor receiuing of reward.

  3. If I did contemne the iudgement of my seruant, and of my mayde, when they did contend with me,

  4. What then shall I do when God standeth vp? and when he shall visit me, what shall I answere?

  5. He that hath made me in the wombe, hath he not made him? hath not he alone facioned vs in the wombe?

  6. How much lesse to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, and regardeth not the rich, more then the poore? for they be all the worke of his handes.

  7. ALSO THESE THINGS PERTEINE TO THE WISE, It is not good to haue respect of any person in iudgement.

  8. To haue respect of persons is not good: for that man will transgresse for a piece of bread.

  9. Then Peter opened his mouth, and sayd, Of a trueth I perceiue, that God is no accepter of persons.

  10. And he put no difference betweene vs and them, after that by faith he had purified their heartes.

  11. For there is no respect of persons with God.

  12. For as many as haue sinned without the Lawe, shall perish also without the Lawe: and as many as haue sinned in the Lawe, shall be iudged by the Lawe,

  13. For there is no difference betweene the Iewe and the Grecian: for he that is Lord ouer all, is rich vnto all, that call on him.

  14. And knowe ye that whatsoeuer good thing any man doeth, that same shall he receiue of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

  15. And ye masters, doe the same things vnto them, putting away threatning: and know that euen your master also is in heauen, neither is there respect of person with him.

  16. But he that doeth wrong, shall receiue for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

  17. My brethren, haue not the faith of our glorious Lord Iesus Christ in respect of persons.

  18. For if there come into your company a man with a golde ring, and in goodly apparell, and there come in also a poore man in vile raiment,

  19. And ye haue a respect to him that weareth the gaie clothing; and say vnto him, Sit thou here in a goodly place, and say vnto the poore, Stand thou there, or sit here vnder my footestoole,

  20. Are yee not partiall in your selues, and are become iudges of euill thoughts?

  21. Hearken my beloued brethren, hath not God chosen the poore of this worlde, that they should be rich in faith, and heires of the kingdome which he promised to them that loue him?

  22. But ye haue despised the poore. Doe not the riche oppresse you by tyrannie, and doe not they drawe you before the iudgement seates?

  23. Doe nor they blaspheme the worthie Name after which yee be named?

  24. But if yee fulfill the royall Lawe according to the Scripture, which saith, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe, yee doe well.

  25. But if yee regarde the persons, yee commit sinne, and are rebuked of the Lawe, as transgressours.
