  1. If I restrained the poore of their desire, or haue caused the eyes of the widow to faile,

  2. Or haue eaten my morsels alone, and the fatherles hath not eaten thereof,

  3. (For from my youth hee hath growen vp with me as with a father, and from my mothers wombe I haue bene a guide vnto her)

  13. Loue doeth not euill to his neighbour: therefore is loue the fulfilling of the Lawe.

  14. Loue suffreth long: it is bountifull: loue enuieth not: loue doeth not boast it selfe: it is not puffed vp:

  15. It doeth no vncomely thing: it seeketh not her owne things: it is not prouoked to anger: it thinketh not euill:

  16. It reioyceth not in iniquitie, but reioyceth in the trueth:

  17. It suffreth all things: it beleeueth all things: it hopeth all things: it endureth all things.

  18. And yee Philippians knowe also that in the beginning of the Gospell, when I departed from Macedonia, no Church communicated with me, concerning the matter of giuing and receiuing, but yee onely.

  19. For euen when I was in Thessalonica, yee sent once, and afterward againe for my necessitie,

  20. Not that I desire a gift: but I desire the fruit which may further your reckoning.

  21. Now I haue receiued all, and haue plentie: I was euen filled, after that I had receiued of Epaphroditus that which came from you, an odour that smellleth sweete, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasant to God.

  22. And my God shall fulfill all your necessities through his riches with glorie in Iesus Christ.

  23. The Lord giue mercie vnto the house of Onesiphorus: for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chaine,

  24. But when he was at Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.

  25. The Lord graunt vnto him, that he may finde mercie with the Lord at that day, and in how many things he hath ministred vnto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
