Bible Verses About Titus

Men that have given their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also will, by word of mouth, tell you the same things.

For it hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us to lay no further burden upon you than these necessary things:

That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication: from which things keeping yourselves, you shall do well. Fare ye well.

I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but bidding them farewell, I went into Macedonia.

For also, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest: but we suffered all tribulation. Combats without: fears within.

But God, who comforteth the humble, comforted us by the coming of Titus.

And not by his coming only, but also by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, relating to us your desire, your mourning, your zeal for me: so that I rejoiced the more.

Before God: therefore we were comforted. But in our consolation we did the more abundantly rejoice for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.

And if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I have not been put to shame: but as we have spoken all things to you in truth, so also our boasting that was made to Titus is found a truth.

And his bowels are more abundantly towards you: remembering the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.

Insomuch, that we desired Titus, that, as he had begun, so also he would finish among you this same grace.

And thanks be to God, who hath given the same carefulness for you in the heart of Titus.

For indeed he accepted the exhortation: but, being more careful, of his own will he went unto you.

We have sent also with him the brother whose praise is in the gospel through all the churches.

And not that only: but he was also ordained by the churches companion of our travels, for this grace, which is administered by us, to the glory of the Lord and our determined will:

Avoiding this, lest any man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us.

For we forecast what may be good, not only before God but also before men.

And we have sent with them our brother also, whom we have often proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent: with much confidence in you,

Either for Titus, who is my companion and fellow labourer towards you, or our brethren, the apostles of the churches, the glory of Christ.

Did I overreach you by any of them whom I sent to you?

I desired Titus: and I sent with him a brother. Did Titus overreach you? Did we not walk with the same spirit? Did we not in the same steps?

Then, after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.

And I went up according to revelation and communicated to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles: but apart to them who seemed to be some thing: lest perhaps I should run or had run in vain.

But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Gentile, was compelled to be circumcised.
