Bible Verses About The Christ Jesus: Example, an
Verses on Example, an
But it is not so among you: but whosoever will be greater shall be your minister.
And whosoever will be first among you shall be the servant of all.
For the Son of man also is not come to be ministered unto: but to minister and to give his life a redemption for many.
But you not so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger: and he that is the leader, as he that serveth.
For which is greater, he that sitteth at table or he that serveth? Is not he that sitteth at table? But I am in the midst of you, as he that serveth.
You call me Master and Lord. And you say well: for so I am.
If then I being your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet.
For I have given you an example, that as I have done to you, so you do also.
That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them: that, they may be one, as we also are one.
Let every one of you Please his neighbour unto good, to edification.
For Christ did not please himself: but, as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.
For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.
He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.
And putting on the new, him who is renewed unto knowledge, according to the image of him that created him.
Where there is neither Gentile nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian nor Scythian, bond nor free. But Christ is all and in all.
Looking on Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, who, having joy set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and now sitteth on the right hand of the throne of God.
For think diligently upon him that endured such opposition from sinners against himself that you be not wearied, fainting in your minds.
For you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
But according to him that hath called you, who is holy, be you also in all manner of conversation holy:
Because it is written: You shall be holy, for I am holy.
For unto this are you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps.
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.
