  1. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoeuer will be great among you, shall be your seruant.

  2. And whosoeuer will be chiefe of you, shall be the seruant of all.

  3. For euen the Sonne of man came not to be serued, but to serue, and to giue his life for the raunsome of many.

  12. For Christ also would not please himselfe, but as it is written, The rebukes of them which rebuke thee, fell on me.

  13. Let the same minde be in you that was euen in Christ Iesus,

  14. Who being in ye forme of God, thought it no robberie to be equall with God:

  15. But he made himself of no reputation, and tooke on him ye forme of a seruant, and was made like vnto men, and was founde in shape as a man.

  16. He humbled himselfe, and became obedient vnto the death, euen the death of the Crosse.

  17. And haue put on the newe, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,

  18. Where is neither Grecian nor Iewe, circumcision nor vncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond, free: But Christ is all, and in all things.

  19. Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.

  20. Consider therefore him that endured such speaking against of sinners, lest ye should be wearied and faint in your mindes.

  21. Ye haue not yet resisted vnto blood, striuing against sinne.

  22. But as hee which hath called you, is holie, so be yee holie in all maner of conuersation;

  23. Because it is written, Be yee holie, for I am holie.

  24. For hereunto ye are called: for Christ also suffred for you, leauing you an ensample that ye should follow his steppes.

  25. Who did no sinne, neither was there guile found in his mouth.
