  1. None of his sins, which he hath committed, shall be imputed to him: he hath done judgment and justice, he shall surely live.

  5. No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

  6. And when Jesus passed on from thence, he saw a man sitting in the custom house, named Matthew; and he saith to him: Follow me. And he arose up and followed him.

  7. For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, that is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.

  8. And others fell upon good ground: and they brought forth fruit, some an hundred fold, some sixty fold, and some thirty fold.

  9. But he that received the seed upon good ground, is he that heareth the word, and understandeth, and beareth fruit, and yieldeth the one an hundredfold, and another sixty, and another thirty.

  10. And he that had received the five talents coming, brought other five talents, saying: Lord, thou didst deliver to me five talents. Behold I have gained other five over and above.

  11. His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

  12. And he also that had received the two talents came and said: Lord, thou deliveredst two talents to me. Behold I have gained other two.

  13. His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

  14. And when he was passing by, he saw Levi, the son of Alpheus, sitting at the receipt of custom; and he saith to him: Follow me. And rising up, he followed him.

  15. For whosoever shall do the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

  16. And these are they who are sown upon the good ground, who hear the word, and receive it, and yield fruit, the one thirty, another sixty, and another a hundred.

  17. And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame.

  18. And why call you me, Lord, Lord; and do not the things which I say?

  19. Every one that cometh to me and heareth my words and doth them, I will shew you to whom he is like.

  20. He is like to a man building a house, who digged deep and laid the foundation upon a rock. And when a flood came, the stream beat vehemently upon that house: and it could not shake it: for it was founded on a rock.

  21. But that on the good ground are they who in a good and perfect heart, hearing the word, keep it and bring forth fruit in patience.

  22. Who answering, said to them: My mother and my brethren are they who hear the word of God and do it.

  23. And he said to them: When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.

  24. But he said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it.

  25. Blessed are those servants whom the Lord, when he cometh, shall find watching. Amen I say to you that he will gird himself and make them sit down to meat and passing will minister unto them.
