  1. and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:

  2. whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old.

  20. as he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek.

  21. By faith Abraham, being tried, offered up Isaac: yea, he that had gladly received the promises was offering up his only begotten son;

  22. even he to whom it was said, In Isaac shall thy seed be called:

  23. accounting that God is able to raise up, even from the dead; from whence he did also in a figure receive him back.

  24. Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

  25. For you therefore that believe is the preciousness: but for such as disbelieve, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner;
